Colin and I walked our dogs in the woods at Ambleside for years. We became good friends and shared many a laugh together. His sense of humor and love for family and adventure will be missed. Such a sad loss for his family. Our thoughts are with his family during this very difficult time.

Colin and I met in the summer of 1991 at a party, soon after he met his first wife Gloria.  I met my husband, Brad, that summer as well.  Gloria and I had been best friends for many years, and the four of us played on the same ball team, went to concerts, dinners, played many seasons of darts together and Colin was a regular at the poker games we held on 6th, Together they shared an enormous love for Max.  I'll remember Colin for his incredible wit, kindness and patience.  We flew frequently together in the early days of Colin's flying career, and I understood his love of piloting and flight.  I was so happy to hear that he had found happiness with Alex,  My condolences to the families.

I first met my cousin Colin when he came to live with us in Edmonton as a teenager. I am 8 years younger and remember it took awhile before I understood what he was saying. I am so sorry we lost contact. Everything I have read tells me how wonderful a guy he was. My thoughts and prayers are with family and friends. He has joined other family members in heaven and will not be alone. I would like to let his son and fiance know he has family in Calgary, AB. We would love to meet you one day and hear more about Colin.
