Mr. George Emmanuel Kessel

Sept.16,1935 – June.23,2010

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of George, a loving brother, uncle, father, adoring grandfather, and true friend to those who knew him. He will be greatly missed by his son Mike, daughter-in-law Korie, grandson Braeden, sister Helen Woods, brother-in-law Tom Woods, and nephews Doug, Bob, Chris, and Larry, as well as life long friends Tony and Norma Serka. George spent his younger years travelling the globe, and later worked for the provincial government for over 25 years, where he was a devoted employee. He was a very kind person who cared for everyone around him, and was an avid gardener. During his retirement he could often be found lounging by the pool, or spending time with family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Hollyburn Funeral Home on Saturday July.10th at 2:00pm, 1807 Marine Drive, West Vancouver. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, in his memory.
