Jim passed away peacefully at home, 7 yrs after the passing of his beloved wife Maggie. He is survived by his seven children and 12 grandchildren: Ann Bird ( Clive ), Sarah Jane, Geoff ( Kayla ), Marianne, Virginia; Michael ( Gail ); Peter; Jane Bradner
( Stephen ), Colin ( Aleeza ) , Meghan, Shannon; Tim; Stephen ( Jenn ), Russell, Claire, Sean, Declan; Richard, Dylan. Jim received his undergraduate degree from the University of Saskatchewan and his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in 1945. After a successful family practice on the North Shore, Jim specialized in radiology in 1963 and joined the x-ray group in 1966. He was very devoted to his patients and practice. He retired at 65 yrs to family and home life. The family is forever grateful
to Dr. Leon Bard and caregivers Abelle, Ricky and Phil. Prayers will take place on Thursday, Oct. 11th at 5:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday , Oct. 12th, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Both will take place at St. Anthony’s Parish 2347 Inglewood Avenue, West Vancouver.
