1928–2014
Born and raised in Alberta, John passed away at the New Vista Care Home in Burnaby on December 20th. As a young man he literally ran away from home to join the circus. He later moved to Vancouver Island and eventually migrated to the Lower Mainland where he lived for many years. He was a cheerful, good-natured man, and will be missed by many. He leaves behind his wife, Flora, his stepchildren Linda and Sheila, his natural children Jay, Jill and Janette as well as his grandchildren, Isaac and Abby. A service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church 1460 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. on Saturday February 7th, 2015 at 11:00am
