Mr. Karl Greinacher

1925 ~ 2010

Karl Greinacher was born on the family farm in Schwäblishausen, Germany on February 16, 1925. Karl exited this mortel coil on August 24, 2010 at the age of 85.

Karl is predeceased by his sister Resi and the true centre of his world, his wife Laura (Faigle). He is survived by his three brothers Adolf, Erwin, Werner; two sons Norbert and Ken; daughter-in-laws Elizabeth Fendley and Susan Mueller; grandchildren Devin and Kristin who brought him nothing but joy.

Karl was an honest, principled, ambitious and work oriented man. He was also known for his dry sense of humor. He enjoyed hiking and gardening when he wasn’t working, designing, building and manufacturing at his companies.

Karl will be remembered as an accomplished businessman, tool and die maker and inventor.

Funeral will be officiated by Fr. James Comey on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10:30 am at Holy Trinity Parish, 2725 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, BC. Family and friends are invited to a reception in the church hall following mass. Karl will interred at Capilano View Cemetery following service.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers from Living Well Home Services for their loving support provided to Karl during his 6 month stay in Lions Gate Hospital.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of BC.
