Keith (our Dad) lived life at full speed for 94 years. Keith was a husband, father, tennis player, bicycle adventurer, harmonica player, animal lover, salesman, business-owner, volunteer and all-around admirable eccentric.
Left behind to follow in his size 12 footsteps are his daughters Tracy (Paul), Kim (Steve) and Joanne, and his grandchildren, Alex and Simon. Keith was predeceased by his beloved parents in England, his son Craig (in 1994) and his wife Marjorie (in 2014).
Keith left England as a young man to teach in Bermuda, later hitchhiked around the US dressed always in Bermuda shorts and socks, but his search ended when he fell in love with Vancouver and then with Marjorie and he stayed to raise a family. Until his final year, he could usually be found on the tennis court if he wasn't driving to the ends of the world in his camper, or climbing up onto his roof to clean the gutters.
Keith never liked to read fiction largely because he lived his life as a dog-eared novel. He would tell anyone that asked to just get out and enjoy life.
A celebration of Keith's life will be held on August 17, 2021 at 11 am (location withheld). Please rsvp to [email protected] if you wish to join us as we must be mindful of numbers.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Paul Sugar Foundation or People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Goodbye Dad - the world will be a much quieter place without you in it.
