Predeceased by his first wife Marjorie, eldest son
Allan (Marge). Survived by daughters Audrey
(Cliff) Sutherland, Sue (Bryan) Engeseth,
son Brent, six grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren,
beloved husband of Pat, passed
away at Lions Gate Hospital. Special thanks to his
stepson Wayne for his care over the 3-year
period. Ken had a stellar 42-year career with
Commonwealth Construction Company, Comco
Pipe and Supply, Board of Guy F. Atkinson
Holdings Ltd., achieving position of President,
Chairman and Director. His love of carpentry,
sports, boating, fishing and the good company of
friends brought him much joy. Served as a pilot
overseas in the Royal Canadian Air Force during
World War II and was honourably discharged in
1945 with the rank of Flight Lieutenant. He held
Directorship's in other organizations, also sat on
the Business Council on National Issues, was a
member of the Vancouver Club. Ken will be
remembered as a kind and gentle man. At his
request, a private cremation will take place.
