Kia Song "Archie" Foo

Archie Kia Song Foo was born and grew up in Singapore, where he survived World War II, with adventures to tell. When peace arrived, he started his career, first as a bookkeeper, then as a pub owner, and finally as a stockbroker, becoming the sole owner of KS Foo & Company. After a successful career, he brought his family to Canada in 1977, where he became a financier. Far from being all work and no play, he and his late wife, Monica, enjoyed cruises to all over the world. He was also an enthusiastic tennis player at the Hollyburn Country Club, where he made life-long friends. Regular gym workouts and early morning yoga kept him young. He has now joined his beloved wife in the Great Beyond, and he is survived by his children, Violet, Stanley, and Randall, along with his granddaughters, Annika and Michaela. Final arrangements will be at the Hollyburn Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in his memory to the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. His family wishes to give their thanks to the Lions Gate Hospital and the Amica Lions Gate, for their dedication in looking after him in his final days.
