Mrs. Margaret Mae Bowman

June 18, 1932 – October 13, 2017

Maggie was born in Winnipegosis, a small village in Manitoba. Maggie was proud of her father, Tom Saunders, an independent year round commercial fisherman.

Married at 19 to Noah Bowman, Maggie’s 4 children were all born during her 20’s – Nancy Stevens (Geoff), Claire Warszycki (Vince), Sam Bowman (Julie) and Peter Bowman (Donna).

Maggie was strong, courageous, sensible, intuitive and exuded warmth and love for her family including her 10 grandchildren, Katie, Mark, Will, Peter, Ben, Noah, Lindsay, Robyn, Taylor, Samantha, and her 3 great grandchildren, Emilee, Oliver and Wyn.

For her friends, Maggie was unshakeably loyal with a competitive streak you could witness on the tennis court or curling rink.

She had the ability to rise to any family need including fixing mechanical, and other household things gone astray.

Maggie loved a good laugh. Those beautiful blue eyes would open up and warm your heart.

We will miss you, wife, mum and grandma.

A family celebration will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations in honour of Maggie can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
