December 5, 1929 – August 7, 2017
Neal passed away peacefully at Royal Columbian Hospital, New Westminster, BC surrounded by his family. He was born in
Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and immigrated to Canada in 1956. Lovingly remembered by his wife Diane (ne´e Baker); children, Gillian
(Trevor Gray), Lisa and Tomas Escalante, unofficial adopted son Carlos (Jennifer); grandchildren, Bryce and Reece Davies; sister, Marguerite Escalante, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and his many, many friends. A sister and 6 brothers predeceased him.
Neal got it right in life – You never get old, life is too
short, make good with everyone and enjoy a good rum.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. A
