My memories of Aunt Shirley are very special. As a child, I remember fun times with Bud, Shirley, and the kids. We were sorry when they left Ontario but glad we remained in touch. I will miss Shirley's annual Christmas card with news of her travel adventures &  the family. I feel very fortunate to have visited with her a few times over the past decade. She was always so welcoming and we had a wonderful time catching up. (I especially enjoyed my last visit to the house when she showed me the Hamlin Family Bible.)  She was a joy and an inspiration. With my deepest sympathy.

Bud and Shirley were endlessly kind to me as a child, and I am sorry only that it is such a long time since I have seen her.

Aunt Shirley provided me with many happy childhood and teen age experiences.
She was always welcoming and generous with her time. She was a wonderful aunt and I am glad I got to see her one final time in September, 1913.

It was such a pleasure to have met your Mom and been lucky to spend some time with her. She was always smiling, always interested because she herself, was such an interesting person! Another connection among us.....May 10th was also my Mother's birthday! Two wonderful ladies both of whom have made me richer. My sincere condolences.

I loved looking at all the photos of Shirley and her family. Shirley was a wonderful neighbour and always showed such interest in anything I had to say to her,
