Theresa Mary Sheehan

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Theresa Mary Sheehan on April 3rd, 2025. Theresa passed peacefully at home in the presence of her family after a 20-year, courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Theresa had a long and successful career at PI Financial, retiring from her positions as Vice President and Corporate Director in 2014 as a result of her illness. She will be remembered for her dedication, kindness and generosity to her partners, many colleagues, friends and family and, of course, for her “belief in pink”.

Preceded in death by her mother Breda and brother Russell, Theresa will be remembered by her husband and love of her life, Terry Ellis, her father, John, sisters Heather (Terry Edwards) and Sonia, stepchildren Katie (Dennis Vysma) and David (Kelly) as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ireland.

At Theresa’s request, a private funeral service will be held for the family. A celebration of Theresa’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Parkinson Society British Columbia.
