October 3, 1930 – January 8, 2015
He will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret (Peggy); his caring children, David (Lindy), Randy, and Cindy; his 7 dear grandchildren, Julie (Nick), Angela (Dylan), Michael (Anna-Luise), Teresa (Elliot), Heather (Matt), Charlene, and Andrew; and 2 cherished great-grandsons, Aidan and Sawyer. Tim/Ron lived what he felt was a wonderful life. He was a 34 year Woodward’s retiree, 5 years retired from Eaton’s, then he enjoyed working part-time with a good friend at Parker’s Mattress Factory, until they closed in 2012. He loved playing golf, especially with his dawn patrol group, skiing at Grouse with great companions, fly fishing at interior lakes, watching Aidan’s hockey games, and all the many travel adventures and theatre, he and Peggy enjoyed and, of course, spending time with family and friends. At the deceased’s request, there will be no funeral service. No flowers please. He was a very good listener and always enthusiastic about other people’s ideas. He will be remembered with fondness by all who knew him. There will be a family remembrance at a later date.
