Amos Joseph Dugas

He was a member of American Legion, Sulphur and VFW, Westlake. He was also a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, Louisiana. He worked for 37 plus years for South Central Bell Telephone Company, until he retired.

He is survived by his son, Jerry Wayne Dugas and wife Miriam Dugas of Westlake, Louisiana and daughter, Bonita Dugas Lee, and husband Wayne Lee of Carlyss, Louisiana, One granddaughter, Heather Elter Bynum of Carlyss, Louisiana and two great grandsons Aidan Bynum and Landon Gibbons, of Carlyss, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings and wife of 56 years, Naida Mae Dugas.

Services will be held on Monday, November 7, 2016, at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake, Louisiana at 11:00am. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm, with a rosary at 6:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, from 9:30am until services at the church. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines South in Carlyss.
