

Annie was born October 3, 1932 to Louie and Edna Foy in Gilbert, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, ten brothers, two sisters and two daughters, Debbie Doucet and Beverly Breaux. Annie owned and operated Western Beauty Salon in Westlake for 44 years. She and Pop also owned Mom and Pops Sno-Balls for 24 years where they made many smiles happen. Mom enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, dominoes and entertaining friends and family.
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 60 years, Houston Doucet; a son, Doug Carter and wife Cassie of Kansas; a daughter, Wanda Carter Rutherford and husband Walter; a son, Danny Doucet and partner, Jeanene; and a daughter, Brenda Doucet all of Lake Charles; eight grandchildren, Jake, Aimee, Brandi, Ginger, Stacey, Candice, Brian and Anna B; and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation is Wednesday from 4p.m.-8p.m. with a rosary at 6p.m. Her funeral will be at 11a.m. Thursday, June 26, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. The Reverend Fred Reed will officiate.
