I first met Barbara, aka Nanny, when I married her step-grandson Jason Fletcher in 2003. She welcomed me into her family instantly. She never forgot my birthday or her great grandkids’ birthdays. She was a sweet loving lady. She always had stories to tell of her life and the people she had known over the years. Family meant so much to her. She was beautiful inside and out. She will be missed.

I have known Barbara since she was in high school. My dad, the late Rev. Pratt McCloud, performed her marriage to Arlen. I was on the faculty with Barbara at Arnett Middle School for several years. She was a queenly lady, whose love for Jesus, family, and friends radiated from her face! She was a classy dresser, too! I loved my friend and will never forget her. Heaven is sweeter now....I will see you in a little while, Barbara!

Ricky, Binky and other family members,
Your mother or step mother was am amazing person. I'll always remember her as a teacher. She was always so nice to me, which is so uncommon these days. She had a great son in Ricky and a great step daughter in Binky . I honestly thought Ricky was her only son. I never knew about any others until today... LoL...again she was one amazing woman and will be missed greatly.

Mrs. Williams(Ford) was one of the sweetest of ladies & teachers I was blessed to know. She taught me in middle school! She was one of a few outstanding teachers I had that inspired me to become a teacher myself!❤️
Long after I was grown & had kids of my own and came to Westlake to visit my parents, I'd see her at church. She would always make her way over to hug me & see how I was doing! She will forever hold a special place in my heart!💟
My thoughts & prayers are with you, her family, for comfort & peace.🙏
