Bobby was born January 05, 1932, in Oakdale, La. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force for 22 years. He served in Alaska, Georgia, Germany, New Orleans, Hawaii, Oklahoma, Thailand and Arizona.
Bobby loved attending his Sunday School class and tinkering with small engines. His biggest joy in life was watching his grandchildren grow.
In October 15th of 1954 he married Wilda Jane Reed, the love of his life.
Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Wilda, in 2006.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two children, Robin DeVille and husband James DeVille, and David Singletary and wife Susan; He has 5 grandchildren, Sarah Courmier(Frank), Samuel DeVille (Stephanie), Jacob DeVille(Lora), Danny Singletary, and Bobby Singletary; 4 great grandchildren, Nathan Courmier, Dylan Courmier, Blake DeVille, and Brock DeVille; and a sister, Sue Johnson.
The family would like to invite friends and family to Hixson Westlake for visitation beginning at 6pm on Sunday, August 20, 2023 until 8pm.
Visitation will resume at Hixson Westlake beginning at 8 am until the time of service at 10am on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
