(1941-2015)-Westlake
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Connie Kile announces her passing from this life on June 23, 2015. Connie passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends.
Connie was born November 22, 1941 to Melvin and Constance Hebert. She graduated from Westlake High School. She married Gene Kile in March of 1959 and they had two sons together, Michael and Kevin Kile.
Connie loved being a homemaker and devoted her life to her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. As much as she loved her two sons, her greatest joy was becoming a grandmother. Her home on Baker Rd. in Westlake was a showplace where many friends and family gathered for good food and good memories.
Her heart was full of pride when she would get the chance to hear Michael sing. She was his biggest fan. She loved to fish and she and Donnis could tell you some good fish stories.
Those left to cherish her memory are companion Billy Johnson, son and daughter in law Mike and Kathy Kile of Sulphur, daughter in law Mary Kile Franks of Westlake, sister Virginia Hebert of Lake Charles, brother and sister in law Richard and Donnis Trahan, nieces Kelly Pierce of Texas and Lisa Mainer of Westlake, nephew Rich Trahan of Westlake, niece Kathleen Roush and husband Brian of Lake Charles, grandsons and spouses Mikey and Kasha Kile of Westlake, Channing and Amanda Kile of Westlake, OS2 (EXW/SW) Gary J. “Bubba” Viator II U.S. Navy, and Nicole Viator of Virginia Beach, VA., granddaughter in heart Staci Boudoin and Stephani Bridges, great grandchildren, Peyton and Ella Kile, Mandi, Ashton and Baylie Boudoin, Tanner Bazenit, Tucker and Tatum Bridges, Lawton and Hank Viator, and an expected grandson Quinn Kile.
She was preceded in death by son Kevin Kile, parents Melvin and Costance Hebert, brother Jerry Hebert, and father of her children Gene Kile.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 10am at the Hixson Chapel in Westlake. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 5-8pm and will resume on Thursday from 8 until the service time. Burial will be held at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver whom she loved dearly Tanya Eyster and niece “K.J.”
