Harry Bert Thornton Sr.

Harry Thornton was born on January 24, 1949 to Prentiss and Constance Thornton. He was a native of Westlake and resident of Sulphur. Harry was a member of the Catholic faith. He retired as a heavy equipment mechanic in the construction industry.

Those left to cherish his memories are two sons Harry Bert Thornton Jr. and wife Janelle of Westlake, LA, Michael Fruge of Sulphur, LA, two daughters Tammy Poe and husband Gary of Moss Bluff, LA, Christina Guarino and husband Michael of Bandon, MS, brother James Thornton of Sulphur, LA, seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Mary Katherine Estes and Francis Ann McNabb.

Visitation will be held on Friday November 22, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake, LA from 9:30am till the time of service. Funeral Services will be at 11am on Friday November 22, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake, LA.
