Ila Nell Duhon

She was a housewife and raised four children. She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harlan J. Duhon Sr.; 4 children, Nicki Duhon of Westlake, Harlan J. (Dewey) Duhon, Jr. and wife, Dianna of Lake Charles, Cheryl Duhon Irvin and husband, Rick of Westlake and Wendee Duhon of San Fransico, California; 5 grandchildren, Shawn Duhon, Kristi and Misti Thompson, Candace Duhon and Corey Allemand; 3 step grandchildren, Melissa, Ricky and Taylor Irvin; 2 sisters, Florine McKinney and Sue Rye. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarine and Frank Palmer and 1 sister, Pat Hilbrant.

Her funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Father Keith Pellerin will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery, Edgerly, LA. Visitation will start at 12 Noon until 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 and Thursday 8 a.m. til time of service, November 18, 2010.
