Irene Annette Bunch

She was born October 18, 1929, in Acadia Parish, Louisiana to Asa Hoffpauir and Corinne Spell Hoffpauir.

She is survived by one son; Richard Bunch Jr. and wife Dollie of Longville, Louisiana, three daughters; Marilyn Rogers and husband Jimmy of Houma, Louisiana, Alice Browning of Westlake, Louisiana Linda Sherer and husband Ron of Sulphur, Louisiana, two brothers; Harley Hoffpauir and wife Jane, Asa Hoffpauir and wife Bonnie of Westlake, fifteen grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and twins due shortly.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years; Richard G. Bunch Sr., daughters; Catherine Dufrene and Betty Comardelle, son; Harry Bunch, parents; Asa and Corinne Hoffpauir and sister; Fannie Chesson.

She was a member of Sulphur First Church of the Nazarene. Irene was a loving, gentle and faithful mother, grandmother, sister and friend, whom was a true example of a person who truly lived her life by God’s word.

Pallbearers will be; Bryan Sherer, Seth Gaskin, Jacob Comardelle, Jake DeHart, Winston Bunch, and Carlton Bunch. Honorary pallbearers; Gerald Comardelle, Joe Chesson and Tyler Hatten.

The service in celebration of her life will be Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 10 a.m., with Reverend Ron Sherer officiating; Visitation will begin Monday, June 1, 2015 from 5p.m. until 9p.m. at the Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
