I just learned of Mr. Powers passing and wanted to share my condolences. I telephone my mother, Maxine, often and she just mentioned it to me this morning. I went to school there in Westlake with Paul. I live in Las Cruces, New Mexico now. I remember Mr. Powers as being a kind and decent man. I am sorry for your loss. Mrs. Powers, please take comfort in "remembering when". Telling the old stories about when Paul did this or Mr. Powers did that will bring some tears but mostly laughter, I'll bet. God Bless.
