Jacqueline "Jackie" Oliver
December 23, 1950 – December 25, 2020
Jacqueline (Jackie) Ann Fontenot Oliver was born December 23, 1950, in Jennings, LA. She passed away in the comfort of her home on December 25, 2020.
She was a resident of Westlake, Louisiana, for fifty-three years and graduated from Westlake High School in 1969. She retired from BellSouth as a Directory Assistance Operator.
She loved gardening and working in her yard, reading, listening to country music, and bargain hunting. Her love for children extended past her family and friends to include those that need support. Jackie was a passionate long-time contributor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Jackie is survived by her daughter, Tiffany B. Wasson and her husband Robert of Moss Bluff, LA., brothers Michael Fontenot and wife Sue of Deridder, LA., Randall Fontenot and wife Fran of Clinton, TN., Marshall Fontenot of Moss Bluff, LA., and sister Barbara Fontenot of Westlake, LA., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clifton Henry and Lucy Sonnier Fontenot.
All services will be private to honor Jackie’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to St Jude’s Children Hospital that will help keep her passion alive for supporting others. To all the family,
Ron and I are so sorry to hear about Jackie. She has been a good friend for many years as all of you have. She will be missed. I am so glad that we had some time with her while they stayed at our house for a while after Laura. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We love y’all
