James Buford Guillory

James started working in paint and body shops at the age of 19. In 1982, he opened Guillory’s Paint & Body Shop and operated it for 26 years.

James enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. His granddaughter, Alaina, was his pride and joy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John Rodgers Guillory, and Kent Guillory.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife, Linda Guillory, his sons; Jake Guillory and wife Veronica, and Steve Guillory, his daughter; Dany Lynn Guillory, granddaughter Alaina Guillory, sister Beverly Castillo, brothers; Donald Patrick Guillory and wife Nell, Brian Guillory, and wife Eulema.

The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 10:30 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm. A rosary service will begin at 12 pm.
