He was a U.S. Air Force WWII Veteran.
Survivors include his daughter, Monette R. Bergeron of Topsy; sons, Ralph Clifford Treadway of Ragley, Steven Patrick Treadway of Westlake, James Walter Treadway III of Westlake; 4 special nieces, Gail Polke, Polly Parks, Betty Taylor and LaWanda Gathwright; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Hickman Treadway and a son, Charles Wayne Treadway.
His Memorial Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home until the time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
