Jeanette Wise McCallon

Jeanette “ Sissie" McCallon, 89, of Westlake, LA died at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at The Guardian in Lake Charles. Mrs. McCallon was born in Alco, LA and lived most of her life in Westlake.

Survivors include three daughters, Deanna Herford, Carolyn Morgan (Bill), Judith McCallon and one son, Richard McCallon. Jeanette had six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, V.L. McCallon, two brothers, her parents and two grandchildren.

Jeanette retired from S.P. Arnett Middle School as a Cafeteria Manager.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Westlake.

Funeral services will be held at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. followed by burial at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Dr. W.H. Yarbrough will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, February 15th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
