Karen Hope Garner, age 72, passed away peacefully in her daughter's home with her loving family by her side. Karen was born on December 30, 1952 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to Elmer Floyd Jr. and Irma Mae Roessler.
Karen retired from Beauregard Electric Co-op and made many lasting friendships. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cutting her grass. Karen was known for her big heart. Karen was very involved in her church and community; she would sing in the choir, make costumes for plays, and help anyone in need.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 47 years Earl Stanley Garner, brothers, Tommy and Keith Roessler.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Hanniah Rogillio and her husband, Eric; daughter, Christy Garner Fee and her husband, John; son, Jade Ethan Garner and his girlfriend, Bee; grandchildren, Abigail, Alex, Mason, Eric Zane, Elijah, Matthew, Knox, Danni Ann June, and Charli Hope Lynn; brother, Jerry Roessler; brother, Herman Roessler and his wife, Roxanne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025 until time of her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jody Robert officiating. Burial will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025 in Sugartown Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
