Larry was born in Lake Charles on September 9, 1949 to the late Rene` and Irene Broussard. He worked in instrumentation and carpentry. He loved boating and fishing and kept a healthy sense of humor to the end.
He is survived by his wife Nelda Broussard of Westlake; sons, Colby Broussard of Hammond; Jason Broussard of Lake Charles; daughters, Shannon Broussard of Maurice and Kayla Broussard Taylor of Lake Charles; sisters, Catherine Butler of DeRidder and Dorothy Lee of Marietta, GA; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Charles, Eugene and David Broussard and one sister, Laura Hathaway.
His funeral service will be 6:00pm, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:00pm until time of service. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com
