Leatrice "Joy" Maddox, age 96, passed peacefully into her eternal home on Thursday, February 24, 2022. Joy was born December 12, 1925 and was a lifelong resident of Westlake, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Edgar Maddox, and her daughter, Susan Joy Farque.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Lea Davis with husband Ben, and Sandra Maddox all of Moss Bluff; and son, Steve Maddox with wife Janna of Kerens, TX; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Tyson of Port Arthur, TX, Joan Romero of Starks and Joyce Smith of Vidor, TX.

Visitation will be held at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Monday, February 28, 2022 beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life Service led by Celebrant, Jody Barrilleaux will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Magnolia Cemetery of Westlake.
