Linda Gail Istre

Linda was a resident of Westlake for most of her lifetime. She enjoyed being outside, whether it involved sitting on her front porch or taking care of her flowers. Linda will be remembered for the love she had for her family especially her grandchildren.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jessica Duguay and husband Jeff of Prairieville and Andrea Vina of Springhill, LA.; three grandchildren, Kane Vina, Ethan Vina, and Emily Duguay; and one grandchild on the way, Colton; one brother, Rickey Perry; former husband, Kenneth Istre; and numerous extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Randy Perry; and a sister, Karen Sittig.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Friday, November 4, 2022 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home led by Rev. Steve Gautreaux with My Church of Prairieville, LA.
