Linda Newman

Linda Newman, 64, of Westlake passed from this life on Friday, September 25, 2015. She had lived there since 1982 and was a member of St. John Bosco. She loved her family and also Arts and Crafts. Fishing was another hobby of hers and she just loved to catch them.

She is survived by her loving husband Jessie Kenneth Newman of Westlake and two children Kenneth Christopher Newman of Westlake and Stephanie Dartez and husband Jerry of Westlake. Also, surviving are brother, Wallace Breaux and wife Linda of Florien, LA, two sisters Joyce Trout and husband Donnie of Carlyss, and Nedda Courmier of Iowa, LA. Also, she leaves behind Granddaughter's Ashley Taylor and Victoria Newman; and Great Grandson Dallas Taylor. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Breaux, and one sister Murilla Daigle.

Services will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 11:00am. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 5:00-9:00pm and will resume on Wednesday from 8:00 until the procession to the church. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
