Linda shared an incredible bond with her grandchildren and great grandchildren to whom she was known as “Nana”. She was incredible generous, donating to various charitable organizations around the country. Linda graduated high school later in life, which was one of her greatest achievements.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick and Alma Dupre and her grandson Corey Wix.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Frankie Wix; her children David Wix and wife Linette, Shannon Wix and wife Jamie, and Tammy Guidry and husband Bradley, her sisters Gloria Tupper, Brenda Dougherty, Caroline Martinez, and Beverly Doucet; her brothers Rocky Dupre and Scotty Dupre; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and her special friend Cottina Dickerson
The family request that all attendees wear colorful and cheerful colors to the visitation and funeral service. Visitation will be held at Hixson Westlake Funeral Home on Friday August 13, 2021 beginning at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume Saturday August 14, 2021 at 8 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
