She was born in Duralde, LA to parents Willis and Armed LaFleur on May 24, 1938.
Lucy was a native Duralde, LA and lived in Nederland, TX for over 20 years, before moving back to Westlake, LA. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church and a member of Young at Heart. She retired as a Cosmetologist and Beautician form J.C. Penney’s. She was a House Parent for Boys and Girls Village, was a driver for AVIS Rental and was a servant at heart all her life putting everyone first. She loved to cook, sew, yard work, playing cards and dancing.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Russell LeJeune and wife Darla of Crosby, TX; her daughters Cindy Manuel and husband Sam of Westlake, LA; Debbie LeJeune and boyfriend Bobby Fontenot of Moss Bluff, LA; and five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Dale LeJeune; her parents Willis and Armed LaFleur; grandson Eric Bellard; five brothers and one sister.
Visitation will be held at Westlake Hixson Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 9 am, with a Rosary at 11 am. Service will proceed to St. John Bosco church at 12:30 pm for service at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jenesh Joseph will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Gatte Cemetery in Evangeline, LA.
