Mary Ann McDonald

Mary enjoyed camping, yearly family beach vacations, and Sunday family gatherings. Her greatest joy was her loving family.

Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Glenn McDonald II and wife Casey, Marc McDonald and wife Jessica; three daughters, Kim Schroeder and husband Kevin, Robyn Gaynard and husband Jamie, Kathryn LeBlanc and husband Keenan, all of Westlake; one brother, John "Cris" Crispe Lunn Jr. and wife Judith; grandchildren, Hailey Barrow, Heidi Minervini, Halle Schroeder, Hayden McDonald, Ethan Gaynard, Adam Gaynard, Jack Gaynard, Austin Thibodeaux, Aiden McDonald, Allie McDonald, Adalynn McDonald; five great-grandchildren, Myla, Madyn, Harper, Brayden, Bradlee, and Mack; along with extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 52 years, Glenn McDonald Sr.; one granddaughter, Hannah Danielle Schroeder; and one great-granddaughter, Sadie Grace McDonald.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Monday, September 4, 2023 beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary to be prayed at 12:15 p.m. and the procession will leave for the church at 1:45 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John Bosco Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Terronda Gibbs and Beverly Leday for their loving care of their mother.
