Mary LaRose Willard

She was a native of Brunswick, Georgia and a resident of Moss Bluff. Mary was an active member of Jubilee Family Church. In addition to loving her church family Mary could make anything grow in her garden.

Survivors include one son, Travis Willard of Moss Bluff; one daughter, Sherry Ann Barton of Longview, TX; and two grandchildren, Mandy Barton and Corey Barton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Lamar Willard; her parents, David McGovern, Sr. and Sarah Allen McGovern; and two brothers, Jack McGovern and David McGovern, Jr.

Her funeral will be at 11a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. The Reverend Mike Robinson and Reverend Aaron Ricks will officiate. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. Visitation is Friday from 5p.m. to 9p.m. and Saturday from 9a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
