Norman "Ben" Hoover

Ben was retired from the United States Air Force and a member of American Legion Post 407 and VFW Post 8107. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, his naps and spending time with his family and friends while giving a helping hand when needed.

He is survived by his sons, Brad Baker and wife Pauline of Westlake; David Hoover and wife Patricia of Moss Bluff; daughter, Shelly Womack of Westlake; mother, Hattie Hoover of Ohio; brothers, James and Robert Hoover of Montana and Leo, Jr. Tom, and Ronnie Hoover of Florida; sisters, Patty Dye and Jeanette Kreidler of Ohio; six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Baker Hoover, father, Leo Hoover, Sr. and brother, Samuel Hoover.

His service will be 10:00am, Friday, June 27, 2014 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00pm until 9:00pm and resume Friday from 8:00am until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
