Ms. Peggie and Mr. Everett gave me my first real job at White's Auto Store in Westlake when I was 15 years old. They were both so great - taught me so much about work ethic, responsibility and STACKING TIRES! Hearing of Ms. Peggie's passing brought back so many great memories for me. My deepest sympathy to the Blocker family.

To Denise and Gene I want to express my deepest sympathy. I just found out from Nettie when I got home from San Antonio. I was so looking forward to seeing Peggie soon as she called and told me she was coming for a visit to GA. See was a very special first cousin whom I will miss and her sweet smile and laugh. Sweet Peggie, you always welcomed me and others with a big smile and a warm hug. Your were an example of someone who loved their family, work family, customers, and church. You will be missed more than words can ever say. To her family, each of you are in my prayers. Cherish the memories and know how blessed each of you are to have been a part of her family. I know I'm blessed to have been a part of her work family and to call her my friend.

Peggy first came to us about 10 years ago with the whole Dimmick crew. I would like to say that I have worked with Peggy every day of that 10 years but from 500 miles away because she quickly became part of a bigger spirit that we all take for granted. Some folks just are "joiners" but some do it way better than others. Over the years, Peggy quickly became part of us and I hope we became part of her. When you see someone who is always laughing, always upbeat, always looking for the good in someone,....its pretty easy to want to be around them. At every meeting, at every gathering, it was always easy to find Peggy because she was always where the laughter was loudest, the smiles the widest, and spirits the highest. Her spirit called out to all of us. I have no doubt that Peggy was right with the Lord and is smiling at us all but just as importantly to us.... she was a great example of someone who was right with the world she lived in. We're gonna miss her!

To the entire Blocker family and extended family, each one is in my thoughts and prayers. Ms. Peggie was a huge pillar in the community of Westlake. She always took a minute to talk, give hugs and kisses. She went out of her way to help others. Ms. Peggie, you will always be remembered as a very caring, loving and giving person. We will all miss you dearly.

The very last time I spoke on the phone to Ms. Peggy was when she was calling about overdue payments... I said to her, " You know I got this right and she replied, " Well Angie, when I stop calling, you know something is wrong."... and we both laughed as usual... My heart breaks for your family. She was a fabulous lady .... Many many prayers for you.
