Peggy Joyce Wing McGrath Wells

She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. She met the love of her life Mr. Pete Wells in 1977. She enjoyed her doll collection and often referred to them as her “doll babies.” Her greatest joy was her flower garden and the love of her family. Peggy was the foundation that kept her family together and it was because of her that her family wanted for nothing.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 35 years, Pete Wells of Sulphur; sons, Father Joseph McGrath of Sulphur; Leslie Kyle McGrath and wife Carmen of Westlake; daughter, Rita McGrath and companion Vicki Crotts of Sulphur; brother, Thomas Robert Wing, Sr. of Sulphur; sister, Barbara Jean Cormier and husband Robert of Lake Charles; grandchildren, Daryel Wayne Watson and wife Donna of Moss Bluff; Kyle Raymond McGrath, Eva Marie McGrath both of Chesapeake, VA; Nathan Rivers McGrath, Elisabeth Joyce McGrath and Clayton Russell McGrath all of Westlake. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Marjorie Wing; daughter, Renee Lynn McGrath Gardner and son, Perry Lee McGrath.

A Christian Mass will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 15, 2013 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Rev. Albert Borel will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and will resume Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
