Ronnie worked as an automotive mechanic, enjoyed being in the great outdoors, and loved spending time with his family!
Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Juanita Smith, brother, Gerald Smith and his wife, Darlene, brother, James Smith and his wife, Sadie, a sister, Juanita Janice Coburn, and a brother-in-law, Roy Anderson.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cari Smith; children, Shannon Royer (Scott), Derek Smith (Sarah), Taylor Smith (Brittany), Nic Smith (Brittiny), and Aubrey Cole Smith; step-daughters, Kamryn Nolen and Jordan Buller; brother, Aubrey Smith (Molly); sister, Patricia Anderson; brother-in-law, Mike Coburn ten grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake, and will resume at 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Luke Thigpen will officiate services. Burial will follow in Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ronald Lynn "Ronnie" Smith, age 69, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Ronald was born on Saturday, February 6, 1954 in Lake Charles, Louisiana.
