Ruby Arlene Hyatt Roessler

Ruby Roessler was born on November 20, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA to James Hyatt and Bernice Woodard. She lived in Westlake for most of her life and was a member of Full Life Assembly of God. She loved and adored being with her family and friends and going to church.

Those left to cherish her memory are husband of 48 years Keith Roessler Sr. of Westlake, LA, son, Keith Roessler Jr. and wife Jennifer, of Lake Charles, LA, daughters, Nickie Hayes and husband Troy and Daphne Fruge and husband Herman of Sulphur, LA, Katina Spikes and husband Clark of DeQuincy, La, brothers Kurt Hyatt, Daren Hyatt, Alan Hyatt, Randy Buller, Rod Buller, Russ Buller, and Ricky Buller, and sisters, Rhonda Cole and Regina Manuel, Carolyn Norwood, step-mother, Betty Lou Snead of Lake Charles, LA, 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Reba Mayo, and parents James Hyatt, C.O. and Bernice Buller, maternal grandmother, Ruby Carlisle Woodard whom raised her.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday August 3, 2019 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake with Rev. Gregory Cavenah officiating. Visitation will be on Friday August 2, 2019 from 3pm to 9pm and resuming on Saturday morning at 8am till time of service. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
