

Shirley LeBleu, 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in her residence. She was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Westlake and owned Shirley’s Ceramics in the 1960s-1970s and had a teaching certificate in Ceramics for about 25 years. She also loved fishing from her Pontoon boat in Toledo Bend.
She is survived by her husband Addley LeBleu, a son Steve M. LeBleu (Molly) of Westlake, daughters Sandra Fontenot of LeBleu settlement, Pat Brannen (Leonard) of Perry FL., and Glenda Stracener and friend Ferrill Willman of Moss Bluff. She is also survived by one sister Violet Lee of Houston, Tx. She is survived by her grandchildren Chris Votava, Erin Benoit, Joe and Cody Fontenot, Angie Olivier, Mandie Trahan, Carey Demahy, Caleb, Randy and Amanda Brannen, along with 15 great grandchildren and her beloved Grey Boy.
She is preceded in death by her Mother Julia Bourque “Bert” and Father Curtis Woodard, along with brothers Carmon, Charles and Donald Woodard, Sisters Emma Boudoin, Lois Reynolds, Betty Stoddard, Fay Trahan, and Kay Foil, and one infant granddaughter Helen LeBleu, and Sparky LeBleu.
Services will be held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00am at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake with Deacon Caraway officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 5:00pm-9:00pm and will resume on Friday at 9:00am until the time of service.
