Thomas Adam Conner 10-19-1946 - 09-03-2020

Tom was the king of his throne overlooking his Monarchy. He lived by his favorite motto "Integrity is doing the right thing when no ones looking".

No more words needed if you knew him, you knew it all.

Left to cherish him is his wife, Dorothy Conner and expanded family; his children, Michael Conner, Jacqui (Jason) Elliott, Trisha (Chris) Mier, Bridget (Scott) Boudreaux, Heather (B. J.) Conner, Brandi (Eric) Felice; grandchildren, Caleb (Morgan) Coberly, Virginia Coberly, Branson Coberly, Hanna Walker, Gabby Barnes, Jessica Elliott, Jillian Elliott, Porter Felice, Carter Felice, Ben Boudreaux, Andrew Boudreaux, Juliana Boudreaux, Macy (Cody) Fontenot, and Breanna Watkins (bonus granddaughter); five great grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Carol) Conner, Kenneth (Mary Beth) Conner, Leonard (Marilyn) Conner, De Juana (Ron) Bellow, Sharon (John) Gaspard, and Bert LeBleu. He is also survived by his Southwest Credit Union and PPG families that he loved so much.

Meeting him in heaven is his parents, Albert and Roberta Cormier Conner who instilled his great character and his grandson Conner Mier; sister,Theresa Cormier.

Till his final resting place my sweet husband and I will watch Price is Right every day and Grit TV. when I can stand it. It has been the best honor to be his wife.

Special thanks to his aides, Lorraine and Freddy, Bret Hoffpauir and so many others.

FTD is the horrible disease that trapped his brain in a weak body. Riding out in Hurricane Laura when Hospice left him behind was too much for him to bear.

Cremation services have been provided by Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake, LA.

It was truly an honor to have called Tom my friend. He was always quick to give a smile and a word of encouragement to everyone. In all the years I worked with him at PPG, I can honestly say I never saw him in a bad mood. Go rest now....you will be whole again and at peace in the arms of our Lord. We will always think of you, and smile from the heart...you will be deeply missed. Prayers for you, Dorothy, and for the entire family of whom he was so very proud! 💔💔💔😥😥😥🙏🙏🙏

Tom had given himself to January 8, 2020 to live. He said he had a year and that was when year was up! I think someone else had different plans and kept him here for a reason. His very small family viewing in pine box would have been his choice anyway because he was a simple man never wanting for himself. It was always about his family and me. I also believe he picked this date to ensure his move was simple.

My Dad was a loving man who loved his family so much and all of his grandchildren. His grandkids lit up the room for him everyday when they would make their rounds of visiting him. He was an amazing Dad to his 6 kids and loved us all so much and he made sure we knew that everyday. Me and my sisters would help my mother take care of him every night and I think his favorite part was us tucking him in bed with his bear and letting him know how much we loved him. It warms our heart knowing he left this world knowing he was loved to the fullest. Dad you will be missed by us all but I know you are now one of our guardian angels and you are still up there protecting us all. We love you! ❤️
