Vince Edwin (Pooky) Rohrer

He was born in Sulphur, LA and lived in Westlake. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a driver for Hydrovac. He loved fishing, camping, playing his guitar and writing his own songs. He was very fun loving and had an outstanding personality. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who especially adored his granddaughters.

He is survived by his wife, Penny Rohrer of Westlake; son, Eric Jones of Westlake; daughters, Mary Jones of Westlake, Jobeth Talbot of Moss Bluff; brothers, Roger Rohrer of Sulphur, LA, Lance Rohrer of Westlake; sisters, Ronda Puckett of Beaumont, TX, Vickie Chaison of Sulphur and 2 grandchildren, Jacklyn Burnworth and Haley Hamilton.

His funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Wayne Blanchard will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Gardens.
