I had him at WHS in 1988. Loved his sense of humor and his passion to teach us about government! Schools should bring back Civics and Free Enterprise classes like his!

Clint and I grew up in the same neighborhood and became friends in junior high school. We remained friends over the years and had some wonderful long talks together as he lived Baton Rouge, La some time ago, where I lived and worked also. He also visited me and supported me as a friend when I moved to Dallas, Texas in the late 80's. Although I haven' t seen him in over 20 years, I still consider him a good friend. Condolences to your family as I know you will be missed.

How sad to lose an old friend, especially from our school family at Westlake HS. His was a life well-lived. My sympathy to the family...

Clint and I were neighbors during the formative preteen and teenage years. We spent many hours at each other’s house, along with Mike Tenney, plotting our next mischief. Like many teen bits, we rode bikes and played sports all over Maplewood. We might have chased a girl or two.
Love and miss ya Clint!

I remember always seeing him at the home football games & how he enjoyed every minute of it. The first time I remember meeting him though, was after Kevin & I's daughter finished band camp her freshman year & they played their exhibition show & Donna introduced us to him. Our daughter only had his AP class for a little while before he retired. But she always talked about how funny he was, how it made his class enjoyable & how it wasn't the same after he left. For her to say that, tells me he was an exceptional teacher & WHS lost a valued member of their staff when he retired.
