William Allen McCloud

William “Allen” McCloud, 78, passed away Saturday, January 24th, at a local hospital. He was born October 14, 1936 in Hico, LA to Roy and Della McCloud. He is predeceased by his parents; wife, Jean McCloud; son, Keith McCloud and brother, Charles McCloud.

Allen leaves behind sons, Michael (Lucy) McCloud of Moss Bluff; David McCloud of Sulphur; step-sons, “Cougar” (Sharon) Peshoff of Troy, NC; Buddy (Darlene) Peshoff of Florence, SC; daughter, Angela McCloud of Oberlin; step-daughters, Ramona (Tommy) Whatley of Vinton; “Peaches” (Charles) Russ of Kelly, NC; 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Allen was a former resident of Westlake. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Westlake. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Local 406 and a member of the American Legion Post 407. His hobbies included bowling, playing Dominos, crossword puzzles and fishing.

Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2015 and will resume Wednesday from 10:00am until time of service. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 1:00pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Brother Mike Robinson will be officiating. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
