Wilmer Landry "Buddy" Buller

He is survived by his wife of over 29 years, Roxann M. Buller; his 7 children and their spouses, Mike and Sadone Buller, Paula and Robert Terry, and Keith and Rachel Buller, all of Iowa, Gwen and Nik Rakoff of Madison, Alabama, Cheryl and Wayne Havard of Westlake, Randy and Deidre Buller of Iowa, and Cliff and Mandy Moncrief of Lake Charles; his 19 grandchildren, Amber (Kevin) Perry, Tyler (Margaret) Arnold, Austin Arnold, Lacey Buller, Lyndsey (Travis) Savant, Beth (Derrick) Richard, Ryan Buller, Chauncey Fontenot, Lois Anne Buller, Betsy Buller, Ethan Rakoff, Garrett Rakoff, Tyler Havard, Logan Havard, Tanner Buller, Paige Buller, Drew (Heather) Bollich, Olivia Moncrief and Brenna Moncrief; 9 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ezora “Deanie” Swain of Natchez, Mississippi. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 32 years, Lois Jean Buller; brother, Henry “Chuck” Buller and infant brother, Michael; his parents, Wilton and Aline Buller, an infant daughter, a grandson, Christopher Terry and a great granddaughter, Kensley Arnold.

Mr. Buller was born on August 25, 1934. He was raised in the Fenton area and moved to Westlake in 1986. He worked in the Lake Area industry for many years and retired from Olin after 17 years as a maintenance supervisor. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Buddy was a man of many talents and interests. He loved reading, camping, fishing, hunting, spending time with his family, playing cards with friends and spoiling his cats and dog, A-Bear.

Buddy will be remembered by his family and friends as the one to call for anything. He was kind, friendly and hard-working. His smile and love will be missed.

Visitation will be Wednesday, June 15, 2016 from 5pm-9pm with a rosary at 6pm and will resume Thursday 10am at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1pm on Thursday at St. John Bosco Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Hebert Cemetery in Hecker. Pallbearers will be his ten grandsons.
