Brian L. Bower

On July 14th, 2026 , Brian passed away at the age of 53, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, grit, and endless energy.

As a young man, Brian answered the call of duty and served in the U.S. Navy. His time in the service fostered a lifelong love for the ocean, leading him to his favorite professional pursuit: commercial diving. In the water was where he felt most at home, exploring and working in a world few get to see. He loved adventure and exploring, and truly lived for the thrill of life—an infectious energy that made life so much more exciting for everyone around him. Later in life, he brought that same determination to dry land, successfully owning and operating his own construction company.

Above all his adventures and achievements, Brian's heart belonged to his family. He shared 28 wonderful, adventurous years alongside Kat Bower, who was his constant partner in life. He raised six children—Marco, Jasmine, Maria, Jose, Damon, and Tristan —teaching them the values of independence, hard work, and loyalty. Growing up alongside his three sisters, Terri, Laurie and Jennifer, he was a beloved brother and beloved son to Neil and Bette Bower.

Brian's stories, his adventurous spirit, and his strong-willed nature will be deeply missed but never forgotten by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of sharing in his wild ride.

Our family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic Hospice for their exceptional care. Church services at St. Bernadette Church in Westlake will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 11AM.
