Doris was born on March 27, 1928, in Cleveland, Ohio to Carl and Ruth Dauenhauer. She graduated from Lincoln High School, and Cleveland Bible College in 1952. On July 14, 1951, she married Ronald Jonathan Mosher, who preceded her in death on August 20, 2000.
Doris volunteered in various capacities at the Corinthian Home in Westlake, Ohio, in a Christian ministry in Bethany, Kentucky and in various Nazarene and Friends churches in the Cleveland area. She was employed for many years at the Halles and Higbees department stores in downtown Cleveland. After her husband’s passing, she moved to Marion, Indiana to live with her daughter’s family and was faithfully involved in a Nazarene church in that community.
Her interests included traveling, hiking and fishing with her husband, reading and doing puzzles. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, and her passing will leave a void that cannot be filled.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Carol (Darrel) Laman and their daughter Galya, of Marion, Indiana, her brother, David (Mavis) Dauenhauer, of Cleveland, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth; husband, Ronald; brother, Carl Dauenhauer and son Robert Mosher.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at 12PM with visitation one hour prior at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home 23040 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio, 44145. Doris will be buried with her husband, Ron, in the Garden of the Apostles, Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
