ERMA M. FOWLER, age 101, passed away February 28, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Dennis and Julia Meszaros; sister of the late Gizella; aunt and great aunt of many. Erma grew up in Cleveland and with her sister (Gizella) shared a love of dance that took her around the country dancing both on Broadway in New York and as a Show girl in Las Vegas. She danced on stage with both Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. She learned to dance in Cleveland at the Nellena Dance Studios at the age of 17. Her dance instructor nicknamed her Blondie but for the majority of her career she was nicknamed “Marsh”. Even in her later years she would show her enthusiasm of dance by twirling with visitor’s children and grandchildren at West Bay Manor where she resided. Come celebrate Erma’s life at the Catavolos Berry Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd. from 11-1pm Saturday, March 19th. Burial will follow at West Park Cemetery.
