IRMGARD L STADLER (nee Golchert) age 93, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Richard; loving mother of Nick, Henry, Ingeborg Kolecky (Don) and the late Richard; grandmother of Jeffrey, Brandon, Jennifer, Nicole, Rachel, Donald, Peter, Michael, and the late Laura; great grandmother of 7; sister of Edith, Warner and two Deceased.

Irmgard was born near the Baltic Sea in the northern part of East Germany near the city of Stulp. The family immigrated into the United States of America in 1956 February 14, with her 3 children Nick, Richard and Ingeborg. On February 17, 1958 her 4th child Henry was born. She started Stadler’s Jewelry in Cleveland in 1958 with her Husband Richard who was a master Jeweler. In 1968 they moved the store into the City of Rocky River and purchased the building in 1980 of which they were extremely proud of, since they originally started their business with only $100 in 1958. Irmgard would run the small store while her husband worked for 10 years in a factory to subsidize the income. Irmgard worked tirelessly to help with raising her 4 children, working in the business to keep her family and children happy. She suffered many hardships in her 93 years and was a very proud business woman and mother, and she loved her business travels to Antwerp, Belgium for buying diamonds and to the world’s largest jewelry show. Her trips every year to Basel Switzerland and Germany were the highlights of her life to help and constantly improve the family business that she so loved and gave all her life too.
